16 October 2026 - 22 October 2026The high-pressure area from China extended its ridge to cover the northern region, northeastern region of Thailand and the South China Sea throughout the period. In addition, the easterly and southeasterly winds prevailed over upper Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand almost the period. Moreover, the monsoon trough lay across the lower southern region and the Gulf of Thailand on 18 Oct. , before shifting to lie across the middle southern region and the Gulf of Thailand in the second half of the period. These conditions caused rainfall over upper Thailand, mainly in the central and eastern regions. The southern region experienced abundant rainfall almost the period.

Gusty wind was reported in Saraburi province on 21 Oct.
