1 June 2026 - 7 June 2026The monsoon trough lay across the northern, upper central and lower northeastern regions, extending into the low-pressure cell over the coast of central Vietnam on the first day of the week. Additionally, the rather strong southwest monsoon prevailed over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand almost the week. In addition, the low-pressure cell covered upper Myanmar in the second half of the week. These conditions caused rainfall over upper Thailand, mainly in the second half of the week. For the southern region, plentiful rainfall was observed at the beginning and the middle of the week.
