General Situation
24 October 2026The high-pressure system covering the upper North, the upper Northeast of Thailand and the South China Sea is weakening while the easterly wind still prevails over the upper country, the upper South and the upper Gulf. At the same time, the monsoon trough lies across the middle South. Continuous rainfalls and isolated heavy rains are forecast in the South while isolated thundershower is likely in the upper country. People in the areas should beware of thundershowers, heavy to very heavy rains and accumulation that may cause flash floods, overflows and landslides especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands. In the Andaman Sea and the Gulf, the waves will be higher than 2 meters high in thundershower areas. All ships should keep off thundershowers. In addition, during 25–27 Oct 2026, the high-pressure system from China will extend to the upper country and the South China Sea leading to the easterly wind bring the moisture from the South China Sea and the Gulf to the upper country. Variable weathers are possible following with thundershowers, gust in the upper country.

Southern (East Coast)
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, and Phatthalung. Isolated very heavy rain in Songkhla, Pattani, Yala, and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 23-24 °C. Maximum temperature 32–35 °C. Variable winds 15–30 km./hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in Ranong, Phang Nga, and Phuket. Isolated very heavy rain in Krabi, Trang, and Satun. Minimum temperature 23–26 °C. Maximum temperature 31-35 °C. Northwesterly winds 15–30 km./hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Scattered thundershowers. Minimum temperature 27-29 °C. Maximum temperature 33–34 °C. Southeasterly winds 10–20 km./hr.
