General Situation
26 July 2026The monsoon trough lie across the upper North and the upper Northeast while the strengthen southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf with isolated heavy rains are forecast in Thailand and isolated very heavy rains are possible in the East and the South west coast. People should beware of heavy to very heavy rains and accumulation that may cause flash floods, overflows and landslides especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands. The rather strong wind and waves in the upper Andaman Sea are 2 – 3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers, in the lower Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf, the wave are about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers. Small boats in the upper Andaman Sea should keep ashore. In addition, typhoon “NOUL” make landfall over Guangdong, China. Southern (East Coast)
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung and Songkhla. Minimum temperature 24-26 °C. Maximum temperature 33-35 °C. Southwesterly winds 15-35 km./hr. Wave height about 1 meter, 1-2 meters offshore and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rain in Ranong and Phang Nga. Minimum temperature 23-25 °C. Maximum temperature 29-32 °C. From Phangnga northward: Southwesterly winds 20-40 km./hr. Wave height 2 - 3 meters and above 3 meters in thundershowers. From Phuket southward: Southwesterly winds 20-35 km./hr. Wave height about 2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
