Weather Outlook During 26 April – 2 May 2026During 26 – 27 Apr 2026, the southeasterly and the southerly winds prevail over upper Thailand with less rains, isolated thundershowers, gusty wind and isolated heavy rains. During 28 Apr – 2 May 2026, another high-pressure system from China will extend to the South China Sea and the Northeast while hot to very hot weather occurs over the upper country. Outbreak of summer storms are possible following with thunderstorm, gusty wind and hail including lightning in some areas of the Northeast, the North and the East for the first period then the Central including Bangkok and vicinity, respectively. For the South, during 28 Apr – 2 May 2026, the southeasterly wind which prevails over the Gulf and the South will weaken with less thundershowers. The weak winds and waves in the Gulf and the Andaman Sea are expected about 1 meter high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers throughout the period.
Caution
During 28 Apr – 2 May 2026, people in the upper country should beware of severe conditions by keeping off outdoor places, big trees and unsecured billboards. Farmers should prevent for crop damage and animals danger.
