Weather Outlook During 9 – 15 October 2026During 9 - 11 October 2026, more rain with variable weather, gusty winds and hail including lightning strike and isolated heavy to very heavy rains are forecast in the country. After that, during 12 - 15 October 2026, rains will be decrease in the upper country but isolated heavy to very heavy rains still present in the South. Beacues of the another high pressure system from China will extends to cover upper Thailand and the monsoon trough lie across the upper South while the southwest monsoon prevailing across the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf. In the Andaman Sea and the Gulf are about 1 meter and above 2 meters high in thundershowers throughout the period.
Caution
During 9 - 13 October 2026, people in the country should beware thundershowers, gusty wind, hail, heavy to very heavy rains and accumulated rains that may cause flash flood especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands. In addition, people should avoid staying in open areas, under large trees, or near unstable billboards.
All ships in the Gulf of Thailand and Andaman Sea, should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers throughout the period.

During 12 - 15 October 2026, isolated thundershowers mostly in the western and the lower part. Easterly winds 10 - 25 km/hr. Minimum temperature 20 - 25 °C. Maximum temperature 31 - 35 °C.

From Surat Thani upward: variable wind winds 15 - 30 km./hr.Wave about 1 meter and above 2 meters in thundershowers. From Nakhon Si Thammarat downwards: westerly winds 10 - 30 km./hr. Wave below 1 meter, about 1 meter offshore and above 2 meters in thundershowers. Minimum temperature 23 - 27 °C. Maximum temperature 31 - 35 °C.
Southern (West Coast)
During 9 – 10 and 13 - 15 October 2026, Scattered thundershowers. During 11 - 12 October 2026, scattered to fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rains. From Phangnga upwards: variable winds 15 - 30 km./hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters in thundershowers. From Phuket downwards: southwesterly winds 15 - 30 km./hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 2 meters in thundershowers. Minimum temperature 24 - 26 °C. Maximum temperature 31 – 35 °C.
