General Situation
06 June 2026The rather strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf while the low-pressure cell covers upper Myanmar. Isolated heavy rains are forecast in the Northeast, the Central, the East and the South (west coast) while isolated very heavy rains are possible in the western part of the North. People should beware of heavy to very heavy rains and its accumulation that may cause flash flood and overflows, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands. The rather strong wind forces the waves in the upper Andaman Sea up to be 2–3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the Gulf should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers, small boats in the upper Andaman Sea keep ashore.

Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi, and Trat. Minimum temperature 26–28 °C. Maximum temperature 30-35 °C. Southwesterly winds 20–35 km./hr. Wave height about 2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani, and Nakhon Si Thammarat. Minimum temperature 23–25 °C. Maximum temperature 33-36°C. Southwesterly winds 20–35 km./hr. Wave height 1–2 meters, about 2 meters offshore and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in Ranong, Phang Nga, and Phuket. Minimum temperature 21-26 °C. Maximum temperature 30-35 °C. From Phang Nga northward: Southwesterly winds 20–40 km./hr. Wave height 2–3 meters and above 3 meters in thundershowers. From Phuket southward: Southwesterly winds 20–35 km./hr. Wave height about 2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
