General Situation
27 April 2026The heat low-pressure cell covers upper Thailand while the southerly and southeasterly winds prevailing over the upper country is weakening with isolated thundershowers and gusty wind. An increase in temperature with hot during the day are forecast over upper Thailand and isolated very hot is possible in the North and the Central regions. People should beware of severe conditions and keep healthy due hot to very hot weather. The easterly and southeasterly winds prevail over the Gulf, the South and the Andaman Sea with isolated thundershowers in the South. In addition, during 29 Apr – 1 May 2026, another high-pressure system from China will extend to the South China Sea and the Northeast while hot to very hot weather occurs over the upper country. Outbreak of summer storms are possible following with thunderstorm, gusty wind and hail including lightning in some areas of the Northeast, the North and the East for the first period then the Central including Bangkok and vicinity, respectively.

Eastern
Day hot. Isolated thundershowers with gust mostly in Sa Kaeo, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi, and Trat. Minimum temperature 25-29 °C. Maximum temperature 35-37 °C. Southeasterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 1 meter in thundershower.
Southern (East Coast)
Day hot. Isolated thundershowers mostly in Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Songkhla, Yala, and Narathiwat. Minimum temperature 23-25 °C. Maximum temperature 34-38 °C. Southeasterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and above 1 meter in thundershower.
Southern (West Coast)
Day hot. Isolated thundershowers mostly in Phangnga, Krabi, Trang, and Satun. Minimum temperature 25-27 °C. Maximum temperature 34–37 °C. Easterly winds 10-30 km/hr. Wave below 1 meter and above 1 meter in thundershower.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Day hot. Isolated thundershowers. Minimum temperature 28-29 °C. Maximum temperature 36-38 °C. Southerly winds 10-20 km/hr.
