The monsoon trough moves down to lie across the upper North and the upper portion of the Northeast into tropical depression over the coastal south of China while the rather strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. More rain and isolated heavy rains are forecast in Thailand while isolated very heavy rains are possible in the North, the Northeast and the East regions. People in the areas should beware of heavy to very heavy rains and accumulation that may cause flash floods, overflows and landslides especially along the waterways near foothills and lowlands. The rather strong winds force the waves in the upper Andaman Sea up to be 2-3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. In the lower Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf, the waves are expected about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers, small boats in the upper Andaman Sea keep ashore. In addition, tropical depression over the south of China, expedted to intensified and forecast to move near Taiwan during 3-4 September 2026. Passengers shoul check the weather’s update before departure. This storm is not move to Thialand.

Northern
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Lampang, Lamphun, Phayao, Phrae, Nan, Uttaradit, Sukhothai, Kamphaeng Phet, Phitsanulok, Phichit and Phetchabun. Isolated very heavy rain in Mae Hong Son and Tak. Minimum temperature 22-26 °C. Maximum temperature 27-33 °C. Southwesterly winds 10-20 km./hr.
Northeastern
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in Loei, Nong Khai, Nong Bua Lamphu, Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon, Kalasin, Yasothon, Mukdahan and Nakhon Ratchasima. Isolated very heavy rain in Bueng Kan, Nakhon Phanom, Amnat Charoen and Ubon Ratchathani. Minimum temperature 23-24 °C. Maximum temperature 27-32 °C. Southwesterly winds 10-25 km./hr.
Central
Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in Lopburi, Saraburi and Kanchanaburi Minimum temperature 23-26 °C. Maximum temperature 31-35 °C. Southwesterly winds 10-25 km./hr.
Eastern
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. Isolated very heavy rain in Nakhon Nayok, Prachinburi and Sa Kaeo. Minimum temperature 23-28 °C. Maximum temperature 29-34 °C. Southwesterly winds 20-35 km./hr. Wave height about 2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (East Coast)
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon and Surat Thani. Minimum temperature 23-26 °C. Maximum temperature 31-36 °C. From Surat Thani northward: Southwesterly winds 20-35 km./hr. Wave height 1-2 meters, 2 meters offshore and above 2 meters in thundershowers. From Nakhon Si Thammarat southward: Southwesterly winds 15-35 km./hr. Wave height about 1 meter, 1-2 meters offshore and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Southern (West Coast)
Scattered thundershowers mostly in Ranong, Phang Nga, Trang and Satun. Minimum temperature 23-27 °C. Maximum temperature 31-35 °C. From Phuket northward: Southwesterly winds 20-40 km./hr. Wave height 2-3 meters and above 3 meters in thundershowers. From Krabi southward: Southwesterly winds 20-35 km./hr. Wave height about 2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershowers.
Bangkok Metropolitan
Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rain. Minimum temperature 25-27 °C. Maximum temperature 32-35 °C. Southwest winds 10-25 km./hr.
