Subject: Heavy to very heavy rains in Thailand,
Strong Wind-Waves in the Andaman Sea

During 28 May – 1 Jun 2026, more rains with heavy to very heavy rains are likely in some places of the South and the East while isolated heavy rains are expected in the North, the Northeast and the Central during 29 May – 1 Jun 2026 due to the rather strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf with the monsoon through will lie across the upper country. People in Thailand should beware of heavy to very heavy rains and its accumulation that may cause flash flood and overflows, especially along foothills near waterways and lowlands.
During 28 May – 1 Jun 2026, the rather strong wind forces the waves in the upper Andaman Sea from Phuket northward up to be 2–3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershowers. In the lower Andaman Sea from Krabi downward and the upper Gulf, the waves are expected about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers, small boats in the upper Andaman Sea should keep ashore.
