Subject: Summer thunderstorm in
the upper country
(Effect until 20 April
2026)

The
high-pressure system from China extended to the upper Thailand and the South
China Sea leading to the southerly and southeasterly winds prevailing over the
lower Northeast, the East and the upper Gulf will strengthen while hot to very
hot weather occurs over the upper country. Outbreak of summer storms are
possible following with thunderstorm, gusty wind and hail including lightning. People
in the upper country should beware of severe conditions by keeping off outdoor places,
big trees and unsecured billboards. Farmers should prevent for crop damage and animals’
danger.
This advisory is in effect on 18 April 2026, at. 5.00 a.m.
