Subject: Summer thunderstorm in
the upper country
(Effect until 25 February
2026)

The
high-pressure system from China extend to eastern part of the Northeast and the
South China Sea leading to southerly and southeasterly winds bring the moisture
from the South China Sea and the Gulf to the Northeast, the Central region,
Bangkok and its vicinity, and the East while hot weather occurs over the upper
country. At the same time, the westerly trough from Myanmar move pass the North
and the upper Northeast. Outbreaks of summer storm are possible following with
gusty winds, hail, isolated heavy rains and lightning are forecast in the upper
country. People in the upper country should beware of severe conditions by
keeping off outdoor places, big trees and unsecured billboards. Farmers should
prevent for crop damage and animals danger.
This
final advisory is in effect on 25 February 2026, at. 05.00 p.m.
