Subject: Summer thunderstorm in
the upper country

Another
high-pressure system from China covers the Northeast and the South China Sea
leading to the southerly and southeasterly winds bring the moisture from the
South China Sea and the Gulf to the Northeast, the East and the upper Gulf while
hot weather occurs over the upper country. Outbreak of summer storms are
possible following with gust, lightning and hail in the upper country. At the
same time, the westerly trough from Myanmar move pass the upper North. People
in the upper country should beware of severe conditions by keeping off outdoor places,
big trees and unsecured billboards. Farmers should prevent for crop damage and
animals danger.
This advisory is in effect on 5 March 2026, at 11.00 a.m.
