thunderstorm in the upper country

The
southerly and the southeasterly winds bring the moisture from the South China
Sea and the Gulf to the Northeast, the East and the upper Gulf while hot to
very hot weather occurs over the upper country. Outbreak of summer storms are
possible following with thunderstorm, gusty wind, hail and isolated heavy rains
including lightning in some areas of the upper country.
People
in the upper country should beware of severe conditions by keeping off outdoor places,
big trees and unsecured billboards. Farmers should prevent for crop damage and animals’
danger.

advisory is in effect on 19 April 2026, at. 5.00 a.m.
